Kitten grabbed her phone and flicked it open. The name ‘Zenn’ was written across the screen with a logo that depicted a set of red vampiric teeth and a blood drop. She sighed and raised the phone to her ear, pressing the accept call button. “Hello Mr. Puppy, what’s going on?” she asked in her sweetest voice. “Going well? Well… I have our stuff… Pay? No… no I ate him instead.” She walked across the car park to where they had left the briefcase of money. “The money? I was going to bring it back.” She closed the case and lifted it up. “She said Meow.” Kitten told Zenn, looking down at the corpse of the ‘funny’ girl. Her eyes widened, and then turned angry “You Will NOT take away my lollypop! Not for this!” her face calmed a little, clearly Zenn had conceded. “I’ll be back as soon as I learn to drive.” She nodded to the last thing he said and then closed the phone.
Kitten threw the phone into the window of the centre car and moved to the rear of another. She pulled the boot open and smiled happily at the two creates resting in front of her. She grabbed them both with a hand each and carried them back to the car she had thrown her phone into. She placed one on the roof while she opened the back door and placed the crates on the seat. She closed the door and moved around the car to the third car’s boot. Again she moved the contents to the back of the primary car.
“Well I guess that’s my cue to leave.” She said, arriving at the drivers seat and sitting down. “All right… now… Driving…”
Kitten looked up at the mirror and saw her reflection. The bullet wound was still bright in her forehead, though she had forgotten. She smiled and reached up to the wound. Kitten inched her nails into the wound around the bullet and gripped tightly.
In one swift motion Kitten pulled the bullet out of her head and pushed the accelerator, driving over the body in front of her. She released the accelerator and looked out the window. The Funny Girl laid dead bellow the car. The Vampire held the bullet out of the window and released it. “How’s that for ‘Meow’, Bitch?”
A silver, beat up car sped through the front gate of a building just south of the river. The windows of the building were boarded up, the paint on the outside had peeled away, but strangely it seemed alive. As the car broke it spun, stopping just short of the actual building.
Three men came rushing out of the building, each holding a sub machine gun of some kind, small, compact, but powerful. Now the car had stopped it was clearer. It had dents all over it, none of the windows were undamaged, leaves and bark were hooked onto the wing mirrors and into the cracks in the glass, and there were blood splatters covering the roof and bonnet. The drivers door opened and a dark haired woman stepped out shakily. Kitten moved her arms out to ballence herself, but had to fall back on the car to keep herself from dropping completely. “Wow.” She said, to nobody in particular. “I should have tried driving a lot sooner.” She smiled, moving forwards, and turning to the men with guns she grinned again. “Hi!”
The men, now obviously vampires, looked at each other with fear in their eyes. They knew of this woman, and her reputation. She killed indiscriminately, she tortured for fun, and wounded at the slightest wrong look. The only two people that did not fear her were the Duke and Zenn. The Duke led this coven of vampires, and for some reason Kitten listened to him and did as he told her, or at least up until now she had… and Zenn… he gave her Lollypops. “Pretty puppies.” She said, hobbling through her lack of balance to the nearest and patting his cheek. “get the crates out of the car for Dukey Dearest.” She smiled again and continued into the building, regaining her balance as she walked.
Kitten pushed the main door open and stepped inside. Standing on the other side of the door waiting to greet Kitten was a man. He had short electric blue hair, brown eyes and a piercing in his left ear, left nostril and on the left of his lip. The man stood at a lofty six foot three inches.
“Hello Kitty-Kat” he said, smiling as she stepped in, widening her eyes at the lollypop held up in his hand.
”Mr. Puppy!” she exclaimed, running forward and snatching the flat, spiraling, circular, red and blue lollypop from his hand. “Thank you Mr. Puppy!” she grinned, ripping the wrapper off of the lolly and placed it carefully on her tongue and closed her mouth again.
“You’re welcome, Kitty-Kat.” He said, petting her on the head.
“Is Dukey mad that I didn’t pay?” she asked, frowning a little.
Zenn looked down at Kitten with a concerned expression. “Let’s walk.” He said, turning towards the centre of the building. “He’s in two minds.” The two of them started walking down the corridor, towards a room at the far end that seemed to be shrouded in darkness. “On the one hand he’s glad that he has his money and the… merchandise. But on the other hand he’s angry that you are driving away our suppliers. This is the sixth dealer-”
“Seventh.” She interrupted.
“This is the seventh dealer that you’ve killed for some reason or another. I think he might try and punish you.”
Kitten giggled as they reached the room. She moved to the centre of the room while Zenn paused at the door and moved to stand at the edge of the room. A light shone a spot down upon Kitten, and another down upon a man at the end of the room. This man wore a black, silk suit with the symbol that had appeared on Kitten’s phone embroidered over his breast pocket. |
